Timely Tips, April 1999
Each week, the popular regional business publication, Long
Island Business News, asks area business leaders for their opinion
on a wide range of topics. Omnicon President Scott Abrams was asked by "Tips
From The Top" Editor Bruce Reisman how his company encourages employees
to "assume ownership" of their areas of responsibility and what
effect this may have. He answered: "We give
our employees maximum visibility on all engineering projects handled by
their team (and) provide them with the tools and resources they'll need
to succeed... This has enhanced our client relationships by making us a
seamless and vital part of their organization." |
