The Omnicon Group announced today that it has been awarded contracts from two leading manufacturers in the rail industry. These contracts include essential engineering services covering passenger railcar reliability, systems analysis, safety analysis, and test development for new railcar designs. The contracts will address virtually all railcar subsystems.Omnicon has been providing engineering services to worldwide railcar manufacturers and major transit authorities for over twenty years. Our experience in this field lets us provide rail customers with the most meaningful results in the least time. We are pleased to have been recognized repeatedly by the rail industry for project performance, superior technical ability, on-time delivery, and intimate working knowledge of rail industry designs and operations. The contracts were signed for three years and both were procured as a sole source acquisition. All work will be performed at Omnicon’s international headquarters in New York.
